Instructor: Leora Strong
Instructor Bio: I began sewing when I was 8 years old and was hooked! I also enjoy knitting, crochet, crafts, wood working and pretty much anything that allows me to be creative. When I was 30 I began sewing for the public making evening and day wear. I made cheerleading uniforms for a team of cheerleaders and bought my first Bernina sewing machine and serger from my earnings. I had never quilted until October 2021 when I needed a king size bedspread. That lit a new fire in me and now I am working on a quilt nearly every day. The love of quilting led to buying a long arm which has led back to working for the public! Teaching sewing classes is another outlet for my joy of sewing.
