National Cartonnage Day - Gift Basket

Join us on National Cartonnage Day and make a special gift basket. Cartonnage is "the art of box making" - a traditional technique of making cardboard boxes covered in fabric or paper and was originated in France long time ago! With cartonnage we can make amazing boxes and other projects and what you will learn in this event with Claudia from ColorWay Arts, is a "Brazilian" variation of the original method.... lots of fun for sure! No-sewing required, join us to see how to use Elmer's Glue and make wonderful gifts! Other kits and tools are available for purchase.'

Supplies Needed:

  • Rotary Cutter
  • Two coordinating 100% quilting cotton (no Kona Cotton) 1/2 yard each (you will have some leftover)
  • Any Cartonnage tools you may have purchased.

Don’t worry if you are a beginner and don’t have any Cartonnage tools. I will have tools available for use while making the project.
