Joan Friedrich designed this club for serger owners to learn more about their sergers and have fun doing it. In this club you will be sergering different sample in the beginning of the class. There will be notes and instructions on how to achieve a particular sample to be put into a notebook for future use. Then there will be a project to follow to apply the technique or techniques. The technique and project will be revealed at the club meeting. What is important about this club is to learn the techniques. When you learn the techniques, you will be able to apply it to future projects that you will want to do on your own. There will be different types of fabric used. You will document your settings for your machine to add to your notebook. In some cases there will be a small kit fee to be paid to the teacher. Fee will depend on the projects.
The club will start on February 7th at 1:00 pm to 4:45 and will be held every 2nd Tuesday of the month February, March, April, and May. At the same time of the day. The club will start up again in the fall.
To be able to join the club you must have had the "Getting to Know your Serger" at SCQ or the 3 day retreat with Joan Friedrich (luv2sew.jf@gmail.com) or my approval.
Lets have some fun with our serger and learn a bunch.
