Using an original pattern by local designer Elaine Wick Poplin, students will learn how to use value and transparency to create a throw-sized quilt with a dimensional "floating" effect.
We will use strip-piecing techniques to assemble the quilt, making it an efficient quilt top to make with exciting visual impact. This class is suitable for beginning quilters with some previous sewing experience, and will still be fun for more advanced quilters.
