Learn how to quilt using your embroidery unit on your one needle machines. We will practice developing your templates, placement of designs, how to connect your design for seamless look, and various sources of information will be provided.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details:
Requirements: Let Pat know what machine you will be bringing and what size hoop if not an 8x12. Please know how to insert a thumb drive and retrieve file. Contact Pat at vittitowp2@gmail.com or 256-874-0813. Bring a quilt sandwich where the top is about 36 inches wide (length can be 36 or greater). Suggest a dark plain fabric, but anything will do. Contrasting thread (for visibility). 2. 8X12 embroidery hoop (snap hoop if you have it). 3. General sewing supplies. 4. Let me know what machine you will be bringing and if you don't have an 8x12 hoop, list the size hoop (like a 5x7).
Instructor: Pat Vittitow
Instructor Bio: I've not been quilting long - about 7 years. One thing I've discovered is that I'm not that great at FMQ so I use my embroidery machine to quilt my quilts. I've several ribbons with this method. I'm retired and really love quilting!
