Featherweight Maintenance and Cleaning Class
A crash course in cleaning your featherweight! Learn how to clean all the way to the gears and the outside and even the case. We will clean the whole machine and grease and oil it and polish and shine it up. This is a 2-day class. The first day will be replacing parts and cleaning the machine. Day 2 will be more on polishing the machine and cleaning the case.
We will only be accepting the black featherweights at this time because the white ones are different and have an internal belt. When signing up for this class, you will need to purchase and order a tune-up kit and book for the class.
Supplies Needed:
-2 flat head screwdrivers one thick, one thin
-A few small sable paint brushes
-Sharpies : Magna wide and regular sharpie. (NOT fine point.)
-Black shoe polish: both liquid and paste
-Vinyl or nitrite gloves
-Featherweight tune up kit (REQUIRED)
-Featherweight Maintenance book (REQUIRED)
-Bring your own lunch
