The Art of Felting
Felting with wool from sheep is the oldest form of textile art and can be traced back to ancient times, when wool was used for a variety of needs from clothing to household items.
Three techniques will be discussed, samples shown and explained, Wet felting, Needle felting, and Nuno felting. We will be making flowers, that can be worn as a pin/broach - this is the first step to all felting processes.
All supplies for this class will be provided - you will be able to choose your package of wool ¦ additional wool kits provided for purchase. No experience necessary.
