Feathers and Stars
This quilt is a combo of printed pattern Feathers and my own design for the alternating block. The quilt with the flying geese border is 70" x 80". You may make a smaller quilt by eliminating the flying geese border.

Wing clipper I ruler ( if you are doing the FG units for border) or whatever method you have to make FG.

Complete pattern is supplied to you at the time of class.
Fabric requirements
For small quilt without flying goose borders-2 ½ yard of background
For larger quilt with flying goose borders-4 ½ yard of background
For star centers and flying geese-10 fat quarters (whatever color you desire)
For star points-¼ yard of several fabrics or 1 yard of same fabric
For Bird blocks
Determine the color of your birds. Several 1/8 yard Cuts plus a few (20) scrap pieces that are at least 2 ½” square. Some brown scraps for beak.For border
I encourage that you wait to purchase border fabric, in order to the size quilt that you want.For the flying geese
Need a fat quarter to make 4 FG units.
