Here are the techniques you will learn to make this "Wow" factor quilt:
• How to make strip sets and sub cut accurately.
• Learn to align and sew angled blocks with the secret to not chopping off points.
• A trick for finding color value so you can easily put fabrics light to dark in this quilt and have good contrast.
• Quilt Math made simple. Learn how to quickly calculate border dimensions and fabric requirements.
HOMEWORK:
Students should come to class with the following precut: 6 fabrics ranging from very light to very dark for the patchwork triangles. Bring at least 3 strips of each fabric (2 ½” x 42” Strips) – Highly recommend you pre-starch your fabrics. Inner Border and Setting Triangle Fabric yardage (Do not cut before class) If you have taken one of my classes, you have directions on how to find color value to order your fabrics light to dark.
