Wish Quilt with Sam
Students should come to class with the following precut:
Star Fabric: Bring 1 Fat Quarter. We will sub cut in class.
Star Tail Fabric: Bring a minimum of 4 Fat Quarters that contrast with each other. We will sub cut them in class.
Background Fabric: Cut 5 strips @ 2 ½” x 42”. We will sub cut them in class.
If you have taken one of my classes, you have directions on how to find color value. If you need assistance with choosing your fabrics, please let me know.
Supply List:
• “Wish” Pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew
• Rotary Cutter with sharp blade • Long Ruler (6 ½” x 24”)
• Square Ruler (6 ½”)
• Thread to match your darkest fabric
•Stiletto
• Small scissors or nippers
• Pins
• Best Press Fabric Starch
• Sewing machine and power cords
• Mini iron would be helpful, but not necessary.
• Bring your lunch.

| Instructor Bio: | I have been a quilter/instructor since 2009. The first memory quilt I made was from my husband and my son's jeans. I am blessed to love and be loved by a decorated EOD Veteran. In order to celebrate and commemorate his service I made him a memory quilt out of his military uniforms. Along the way, I started making Memory Quilts for family members who had lost a loved one. Knowing that they would wrap the quilt around themselves and feel connected to that person again sparked a passion in me. Powerful memories come back when we see a familiar fabric.
