Brother Users Club

This is a new club being hosted at Southern Charm Quilting to provide a community to all our Brother users! We love the Brother brand, and would love to celebrate all of our wonderful customers who feel the same way. We will have super fun group projects and patterns, and we will focus on Brother related content including announcements and updates about what's going on in the world of Brother! We hope to see you there!
Please remember to bring all sewing tools, and your machine. As you walk out the door please make sure you have your power cord and foot pedal if you use one.
In January we will be making a table runner! There are two sizes to chose from! We will be focusing primarily on quarter inch seams and pressing. Fat quarters will work for these patterns. For fat quarters it will be 4 strips of each. Already cut fabric preferred.

| Instructor: | Sue Bartlow, Instructor |
| Instructor Bio: | Sue is the owner and creative force behind Sue Bee’s Memories, and for more than 13 years she has been transforming treasured moments into beautiful memory quilts. Her love of sewing began at just 10 years old, when her mother taught her how to make clothing. One piece became especially meaningful—the prom dress she proudly created during her junior year of high school. In 1988, only six weeks after her wedding, Sue’s life took a heartbreaking turn when her mother-in-law suddenly passed away. She had been in the middle of making Sue and her husband's wedding quilt, a project filled with love and intention. In an incredible act of kindness, the Heritage Quilters of Huntsville quilt guild completed the quilt and surprised Sue with it at a guild meeting. Along with that unforgettable gift, Sue was entrusted with all of her mother-in-law’s sewing and quilting supplies—and in that moment, a new passion was born. It was time for Sue to learn to quilt, and a lifelong journey of honoring memories through fabric had begun.
