Drop Zone Zipper Pouch
This is truly an “everything” bag, you can use it as a sewing tools case, pencils case, makeup bag, purse organizer, a personalized gift, or anything else you would like!
Supplies:
- Scissors and/or rotary blade
- Ruler
- Your choice of erasable marking tool (I prefer a heat-erasable Frixon pen)
- Binding clips or sewing pins
- Sewing machine (in good working order)
- Presser foot (At a minimum, you will need a standard or quarter-inch presser foot)
- You may find a walking foot and a zipper foot helpful, though not required
- Extra sewing needles
- by Annie "Drop Zone" pattern
- Main fabric: 1 fat quarter for the exterior of bag
- Lining fabric: 1 fat quarter for interior of bag
- Coordinating fabric: 1 fat eighth for grab tabs and side panels
- by Annie Soft n Stable : Any size is fine. One half-yard package will be enough for all 3 sizes
- SF101 or similar stabilizer: 1/4 yd
- Zipper: 1 24" or longer zipper
- The bags use the following zipper measurements: Small (18"), Medium (20"), Large (22"). If you are making more than one bag, plan accordingly.
- Bag hardware: This is an optional step. If you want to attach your bag to other bags or items, you may choose to install a swivel hook or D-ring as you make your bag.
