DAY ONE of Snapplique Brother Scan N Cut and Cutting Applique fabric and Overview of Brother Canvas
If you are taking Day 2 of Snapplique Training this class is a prerequisite.
This is an overview of your ScanNCut. We will then scan designs and create a cut file. Using prepared fabric we will then cut the shapes. The fabric is prepared with Heat N Bond lite or Hot Fix Adhesive. We will also have an overview of Brother Canvas Download version. We will then go to Brother Canvas to manipulate the designs or create new ones.
If you don't have a Scan N Cut - there will be a demo machine available.
Supply List:
- Brother Scan N Cut with power cord and all tools (SDX Models only)
- Low tack or fabric mats are required
- Scanning mat is advised
- Applique pattern- The class will have a sample but you may bring one of your own patterns.
*Laptop with Brother Canvas Download Installed*
Materials:
- 2 or 3 fat quarters to practice
- You may also bring your focus fabric
*All material must be treated with Heat N Bond Lite, or Hot Fix Adhesive applied to the wrong side of the fabric according to manufacturer's instructions. Please leave the backing paper attached.*
