- Rotary Cutter with sharp blade
- 12 1/2" Square ruler
- 6 1/2" square ruler
- Long Ruler (6 1/2" x 24")
- Stiletto
- Frixion Pen
- White marking pencil if using batiks
- Small scissors or nippers
- Fine Pins
- Best Press Fabric Starch
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Mini iron would be helpful, but not necessary

- Light: 2 yds
- Light Medium: 2 1/4 yds
- Medium: 2 1/2 yds
- Dark: 2 yds
- 1st border (Dark 2 1/2"): 1/2 yd
- 2nd border (Light 1.5"): 12"
- 3rd border (Medium 5"): 1 yd
- 4th border (Dark 2"): 1/2 yd
- Backing: 4 yds
- Flange Binding: 1/2 yd Dark & 1/2 yd Light Medium

| Instructor Bio: | I have been a quilter/instructor since 2009. The first memory quilt I made was from my husband and my son's jeans. I am blessed to love and be loved by a decorated EOD Veteran. In order to celebrate and commemorate his service I made him a memory quilt out of his military uniforms. Along the way, I started making Memory Quilts for family members who had lost a loved one. Knowing that they would wrap the quilt around themselves and feel connected to that person again sparked a passion in me. Powerful memories come back when we see a familiar fabric. It makes the memories tangible! |
