| Instructor Bio: | I’ve been sewing clothing since I was just 10 years old, but my journey into quilting began with a very special—and bittersweet—gift. In 1988, just six weeks after my wedding, my mother-in-law suddenly passed away. She had been working on a wedding quilt for us, and the local quilt guild lovingly finished it for me. I was also given all of her quilting supplies. It was a beautiful reminder that it was time for me to learn to quilt! That special quilt sparked a lifelong passion. For the past 12 years, I’ve made memory quilts as a business, and I absolutely love helping others turn treasured clothing, fabrics, and memories into cozy quilts that tell a story. I can’t wait to share the joy of memory quilting with you and help you preserve the memories that mean the most! |
