My Favorite Things
So many tips and tricks will be taught--increase your quilting skills as you make several smaller quilts OR combine ALL the individual blocks into one complete bed-size quilt, a totally original design, your choice. You will learn things that improve all your quilt making going forward. My Sample is 65” x 76” but can easily be enlarged.
There is an additional pattern fee of $30 payable directly to Barbara Black at the first class.
You will receive the pattern at the first class.
Fabric Requirements:
- Backgrounds: 2-3 yds
- Prints: 5-7 yds
- Light, medium, and darks are needed
- Themes like Holiday, Baby, Sunrise, or Celebration- anything that inspires you will work.
Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in good working order
- Extra needles
- Thread in a neutral color: Tan, beige, gray, etc.
- Rotary Cutter
- Mat
- Rulers: 6" x 12" minimum, AND at least one square ruler: 3.5", 6.5", or 12.5"
- Thread snips
- Pins
- Scissors
- Seam ripper
Optional rulers: Half Square Triangle Ruler, Bloc Loc Half Square Triangle
