QUILTING SERVICES

We offer edge-to-edge quilting for quilt tops as large as 120″ wide on an HQ Amara using Pro-Stitcher digital quilt designs. Our edge-to-edge price is 0.02 per square inch. To calculate your cost, measure the length and the width and multiply total by .02 and that is the cost of your quilt.

EXAMPLE:
90" x 90" = 8100 x .02 = $162*
*Minimum charge of $50 due to loading of the quilt.

BACKING

Your backing should be at least 6″ wider than the quilt top on all four sides. This is absolutely necessary to allow for room to attach the backing to the quilt frame. If your backing is not wide enough,(at least 6″ wider than the quilt top on all four sides), we can add a muslin strip and it will be added to the backing at a cost of $15 per seam or return it to you to correct the issue. We also ask that you square the edges of the backing to ensure that it can be attached to the frame as straight as possible.

Please iron out all creases and folds, otherwise a $20 ironing charge will apply.

If you request your backing to be pieced, a $15 charge per seam will apply. Additionally, the $20 charge for ironing backing will apply.

If you have to piece your backing, the preferred way to piece it is having the seam run horizontally. Horizontally pieced backings insure a better quality quilting.

BINDING

Upon request we will make and sew binding at the rate of $0.20 per inch for machine sewn as an introductory rate. Hand sewn binding will be by consultation. Customer must provide material for binding.

THREAD

We offer Glide and Omni threads in a variety of colors for you to choose from.

BATTING

We offer Kyoto Bamboo batting. If you would like a different type of batting, please provide that to us.

QUILT TOP

Make sure that all seams are securely sewn. It is recommended that you “stay stitch” the outside edge of your quilt 1/8″ away from the edge. This step is not necessary if you have a solid border as the outer-most edge of the quilt. Iron the quilt top to ensure that there are no pleats at the seams at avoid the $20 ironing charge.

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind quilt finish that reflects your personality, values, and story, you have found the right place.
We are dedicated to crafting quilts that are as unique as you are!
