Message In a Bottle Sew Along

Designed by internationally recognized quilt artist Irene Blanck, Message In a Bottle combines applique and piecing to capture the look of Down-Under quilts. This is a 6 month BOM using beautiful Gelato Ombre fabrics! We will be doing 2 blocks a month with the first month demonstrating cutting out ombre fabrics and sewing the first 2 blocks and the last month finishing the quilt. You will learn about using plastic templates and fussy cutting of ombre fabrics. Accurate 1/4" seams and piecing of diamond blocks and some color theory. This quilt looks complicated but is actually very easy. Finished quilt measures 97" x 97".
